Magnetic Windshield Cover

Scraping cold auto glass before work is nobody's idea of a good morning. This smooth polyester sheet rests across the windshield, held firm by magnets along the perimeter so wet snow, dropped twigs, and autumn leaves lift off together. Miles Kimball has stocked this simple helper for years because it saves cold hands from long minutes with a scraper.

Magnets along the edge

Hidden magnets grip the steel frame around the front glass so the sheet stays flat even when the wind picks up across an open driveway overnight.

Tough treated fabric

The plain polyester fabric comes coated with Teflon so sleet, wet snow, and sticky sap slide off the face rather than soaking into the weave.

Folds into the trunk

When morning comes, lift the corners, shake off the drifted debris, and fold the lightweight sheet down to tuck behind the driver seat or into the spare tire well.

Keeps glass clear

Morning departures go smoother for someone who parks outside under pine branches or wakes up to frost on the glass before the sun hits the driveway.
