Short version: this site has no accounts, no cart and no forms, so there is very little for it to keep. The longer version is below, and it is still short.
What the site collects
Nothing you type, because there is nowhere on this site to type anything. No sign in, no wish list, no newsletter box, no checkout. The pages are files that get sent to your browser, and the picker that helps you choose a gift runs entirely inside your browser without sending your answers anywhere.
The service that hosts the site records ordinary request information the way every web host does, including the page asked for, the time, a rough location derived from the network, and the kind of browser. We use that in aggregate to see which pages are read and which are broken. It is not tied to a name and we do not try to tie it to one.
The moment you leave
Following a buy button takes you to our retail partner, and from that moment you are on their site under their privacy policy, not this one. They will know what you looked at, they may know who you are if you are signed in, and they handle your payment details. We never see any of it.
We also never receive your name, your address or your card. If a payment or an order needs discussing, it has to be discussed with them, because we hold no record of it to discuss.
Email you send us
A letter to the Oshkosh desk sits in an inbox until it is answered, and then it stays a while in case you write again about the same thing. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not have one, and we do not pass your address to anybody.
If you want your correspondence deleted, ask in the same message and it will be.
Children
This is a catalog of household goods and gifts written for adults, and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from them, which is easy to promise on a site that collects nothing from anyone.
Changes to this page
If the site ever starts doing something more than sending pages, this page changes first and says what changed. As long as it reads the way it reads today, nothing more is happening.
