Clear Dome Umbrella

A deep plastic canopy curves down over the head and shoulders, shedding rain while keeping the entire view open. We keep this one in the Miles Kimball pages because standard umbrellas block the line of sight when pulled down against a strong gust. It opens by hand and stays put over a coat.

Deep rounded canopy

The clear plastic shell wraps down around the shoulders instead of flattening out above them. Rain runs off the sides while the person underneath looks right through the front to watch their footing.

Sturdy metal ribs

Strong metal ribbing holds the round dome in place against sudden gusts that turn ordinary flat frames inside out. The frame stays light enough to hold with one hand across a wet parking lot.

White crook handle

A smooth plastic handle hooks over a forearm or hangs from a coat rack by the back door. Matching white trim finishes the lower edge of the plastic so the border is easy to spot.

Tucks behind the seat

Keep one in the car trunk or slide it between the front seats for rainy mornings at the grocery store. It shakes dry quickly before going back into the vehicle.
