Pilgrim Boy and Girl Metal Lawn Stakes Set by Maple Lane Creations

Setting out the harvest decorations marks the change in the year around Oshkosh. This painted pair steps right into the front lawn, dressed in traditional buckle hats and bonnets. Miles Kimball has carried autumn yard art like this for generations because it looks right at home beside the front steps.

Hammered metal construction

Each figure is cut from sturdy hammered metal and painted in rich fall colors. The finished metal holds up well to frosty November mornings and late autumn rain without fading.

Coiled spring necks

The heads attach with small coiled metal springs underneath. When the cold autumn wind blows across the yard, the boy and girl gently nod to greet neighbors walking past the house.

Ground stakes included

Both pieces attach firmly to their metal ground stakes. They push easily into soft lawn soil, garden mulch, large porch flower urns, or even a pair of straw bales by the walk.

Carried harvest gifts

The boy holds a ripe orange pumpkin while the girl carries freshly gathered ears of corn. They make a thoughtful gift for a grandmother who loves decorating her yard for family gatherings.
